It's a journey that started in 2004. The state of the heart of young ones and less privileged who could not afford a heart operation had moved our hearts too. Consequently, Medwin Heart Foundation’s Tender Hearts came into existence with the sole aim of saving human hearts.
In a short time of about a year, Medwin Heart Foundation has been able to save as many hearts as possible. Actually, the number of heart surgeries undertaken is 100, to be precise. What's more hearty is the fact that all the surgeries have been successful, cent per cent. With such noble aim guiding its path, Medwin Heart Foundation is all set to continue its journey. This year, it plans to increase the number of surgeries to a new high, with the active support of individuals and organizations that have a heart for little hearts.
Medwin's entire surgical team, intensive care team and nursing staff are willing to volunteer these services and spare some time for this noble cause. Medwin Heart Foundation is a registered society bearing 1952/2004 and has 80G exemption on all donations made.
the BIRTH of Prevent India
The Heart of the matter has been introduced for the first time in INDIA in the year 2008. This initiative is being launched by MEDWIN HEART FOUNDATION through the platform of PREVENT INDIA. Prevent India is a two day programme. This two day programme will be attended and addressed by renowned medical practitioners from various specialties of medicine that are connected cardiac related diseases.
